Our
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy is as follow:
1.
All returns must be
authorized by United Micro Customer Service or United Micro Technical Support.
2.
Before returning product,
obtain RMA # from United Micro Customer Service by calling 1-800-943-7255 or
faxing RMA Request Form to 1-440-498-7214.
3.
Customer must provide the
invoice number, date of purchase, and serial number of items to be returned,
and reason for return. (Please keep a copy of your invoice in case a return is
necessary.)
4.
RMA numbers are valid for 15
days from the date of issuance. Returns must be received by United Micro within
the time. After 15 days, a new RMA # must be obtained.
5.
Product to be returned must
be securely packaged, preferably in the original cartons. Freight and insurance
are the responsibility of Customer. Customer assumes risk of loss or damage
during shipment.
6.
The RMA # must be clearly
marked on the shipping label of each carton. (Do not put RMA # on product.) Packages
without the RMA# on the outside will be refused.
7.
Products being returned for
credit or exchange must be returned complete, including registration card and
all accessories (cables, manuals, diskettes, etc.) , in original packaging.
Product must be in like-new, resellable condition. All products will be inspected
and, at our discretion, credit may be refused.
8.
No return for credit or
refund for opened software (disk envelope seal broken or seal on Microsoft OEM
Distribution Pack broken).
9.
For products being returned
for Warranty Repair/Replacement or Out of Warranty Repair, ship only the
defective part, unless otherwise instructed. Customer is responsible for
freight and insurance charges to and from United Micro for out-of -warranty
repairs.
10.
Certain products are
serviced directly be or returned directly to the manufacturer. United Micro
Customer Service or United Micro Technical Support will provide the necessary
information for these products.
11.
All Refunds/Credit must be approved and will be subject to a minimum 15%
restocking fee. No Returns/credits will be replaced immediately. United Micro reserves the right to thoroughly
test all items. Absolutely no Refunds/Credits after 30 (thirty) days from date of invoice. Allow 4 - 6
weeks from date of RMA for refunds.
